Benjamin (my son) is a 12 yr old with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Without getting into the how's or why's; his muscles are weak. Very weak. He is still walking but needs a lot of assistance with normal tasks.
One area he struggles in is his ability to climb stairs and last year we moved house to a single stores and took the equity from our home to put in a pool for him to exercise in.
We're seeking funding to allow him to be able to get out of the pool unassisted using a disabled pool chair. He simply can't use the stairs.
If you can find it in your heart to donate I know he would (and the family would) be so grateful.
