Lisa Davis medical expense fund

My moms name is Lisa Davis and she is a straight up angel. I am not a mom, and no where close to being one, but one day if I do get that chance, i have already accepted that I can never be half of the woman that she is. My mom is the kindest soul to grace this planet, and I know everyone says that about their mother. But SERIOUSLY. I always joke that I could bring home a serial killer or murderer from jail home as my boyfriend, and my mom would say “oh honey! he is so sweet- he just made some bad choices!!” This woman literally sees the good in every human, whether they deserve it or not. She was a hairdresser for 32 years, and just recently made a job change to helping out people who need a second chance at life (recovering addicts, ex-felons, etc) find a job. It is the perfect career for a woman who has the heart of gold that she does. She also married a wonderful man, Brad Davis, who is an angel on Earth. With these two new great things happening, there had to be a wrench thrown in. Now that she has affordable healthcare, my mom went to get her first mammogram in 7 years. She called my sister and I in August to tell us the news that she was diagnosed with stage 3 lobular breast cancer. It’s been almost two months, and I have not heard her cry one time, complain, or question “why?” She has the outlook of a fierce warrior. She is fighting hard. My mom, who died her hair red after Pretty Woman debuted, is now absolutely slaying the bald head, with incredible positivity radiating from her! She has never asked for anything and gives everything she has to her clients, husband, daughters, friends, even the stray animals that come visit her in her small Indiana town. Having gas cards to help my mom make the long commute to every treatment would be a huge blessing to her and Brad- even though if you asked her- she would already say her life is perfectly blessed!
