Bob Smith funeral fund

On November3, 2016, cancer had come uninvited to our family, and so began our fight with cancer.  Bob Served in the Army during the Viet Nam Era, now Post Commander of the American Legion Post 460. Giving tirelessly to veterans across Knox County Bob has served on the Veterans Council and participated in as many military funerals as he could. Always on hand to raise the flag at home football games or any celebration that involved the flag. He has worked endless for veteran’s causes and those causes supported by the American Legion.
Bob is also president of the Centerburg Community Conservation Club. Working to promote youth groups such as youth trap shooters, and youth fishing tournaments during the annual June hog roast. He has given so much of his time to promoting and caring for the Club and its purpose.
Most of all Bob has been a devoted family man, married 37 years with 3 children and 5 grandchildren. His fight against pancreatic cancer is taking its toll financially on his family. He has given so much to this community and this county please find it in your heart to give something back to this amazing man.

Please keep our family in your prayers!  Thank you!
