Beagle in need

Donation protected
I have been getting a lot of questions on if she is a beagle due to the first campaign photo. I updated the picture now that the ACO has provided me one of her. She is a beagle. I did not have one before so I used a picture of me and my first rescue dog Bridget who was a Lhasa Apso so people that know me would recognize my picture. Sorry for any confusion.

My name is Randy Arthur and yesterday on my way to Home Depot I found a beagle on the side of Day Hill and Blue Hills road who had been hit by a car no collar, no I.D. I brought her to the emergency vet (Windsor CT) and they think she was someone's at some point a while back but has been a stray for Some time. She has a broken leg, a potentially fractured pelvis and I am praying no internal bleeding because they "can't" do anything because she is now property of the town unless an owner comes forward. They are keeping her on pain meds but won't X-ray, ultra sound etc unless someone will work with the town and get the agreement to pay for it upon satisfactory clearance that an owner cannot be identified. The surgery needed the vet estimates would be about $3.5k to $4.5k (but I am hearing that sounds high so I have set a go fund me goal of $3k) so they will likely put her down unless it can be paid for. I am asking you and many organizations for help. If you know of anyone or any organizations that might be willing to help us raise funds or get through the politics to help this poor dog please do what you can. If allowed I will pay for her diagnostics and towards her surgery so they don't kill her but I just don't have the money to do it all so I am hoping an organization exists or there are enough kind hearted people that believe in second chances and doing good in this world that are willing to help save a life. I am hoping this call for help gets out quickly as time is of the essence. The emergency vet won't even give me any details at this point other than she is still there. So frustrating but I did call this morning and was told she is still there which is a great sign she doesn't not have internal bleeding. I set this page up at the suggestion of many friends and an outstanding organization called paws4rescue that I adopted my current dog from. If we do meet the goal it will all be used to help this dog and if the bills total less than $3000 and/or the goal is exceeded I will donate 100% of the excess to paws4rescue to help other dogs in need. Thank you for any advice and/or support you can provide!
