Angela's Angels

Six years ago my sister Angela was diagnosed with a rare cancer - chronic myeloid leukemia.  She's been on three different TKI medicines over the years, but the cancer has continued to mutate and change.  The medicines have also caused many side effects, causing her to miss so much work that she has no sick time left for the stem-cell transplant, the next step in her treatment.  

This transplant is scheduled for April 24th, and it could save her life. The funds are needed for the three months plus of recovery time.  Angela's husband makes enough money to cover food, gas, and household necessities, but she has been the main breadwinner, and her income is needed for the their rent and insurance costs.  Of the insurance costs, she'll need to cover at least one month of her employer's contribution to the premiums and three months of her own, in addition to her co-pays and out-of-pocket maximums.  

Angela is worried enough about her recovery from cancer and doesn't need the added stress of wondering if her family will be homeless when this is over.  Please be an angel for my sister, and show the love of Christ to her and her family!
