This is a plea from Eclecticity...
It's never easy to ask for help when you need it. Especially when you're, you know, a retail store. But, we have always tried to be more than a retail store. Whether it was hosting benefits for a no-kill cat shelter, or various cancer projects, or having free concerts, or giving the cheapest and (in our not so humble opinion) best Tarot readings around, we have always tried to be there for the community, and for individual people in their times of need. Well, this is ours.
We hear all the time that we are everyone's favorite store. That's great. We love that. It's very flattering, and makes us feel good about doing what we love to do. But, to be plain, this winter sucked for small bricks and mortar stores like us. We managed to scrape by, barely.
But we are up against a wall now, and if things don't turn around fast, we are going to be forced out of business.
So, if you love the store, if you love the stuff you just can't get anywhere else, if you love us...come in and buy stuff. And if you can't come in and really want to help, please help us out by donating whatever you're able via this wonderful website. For every donation over $25 we'll send you an Eclecticity mug (while supplies last)...and regardless, you will have the undying gratitude of some folks who've sunk their heart and soul into this endeavor since 1999.
