Kassie's tuition

Hello internet! My name is Kassie Dudek, and I'm a 23 year old student at Northern Illinois University majoring in biological sciences with a minor in chemistry. This campaign is to raise the money needed to pay for the last two courses required to complete my degree. In addition to my coursework I am earning what I can by working part time in the dietary department at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center as well as doing a work study program at the university. 

The reason I now need to appeal to others for help on the home stretch is the normal financing options I was using aren't being offered to me for these final two courses. My hope is that if my family, friends, and random strangers all pitch in we might be able to get this funded. This money is all that is standing between me and my degree.

My boyfriend suggested we take this issue to the masses to try drumming up the funds needed. Had the need to save this money been known further ahead of time we quite possibly could have saved it ourselves over time. Those who know me know that I only tend to ask for help as a last resort. I've even created a facebook page for the occasion even though I've resisted doing it until now since I did not care to have the distraction.

The goal amount will cover the tuition, related expenses, and some of the cost of my commute to DeKalb from Rockford. Contributions of any amount would be a great help and greatly appreciated. The last thing I'd like to add is that science is my passion, and this degree is an important step toward achieving all of my goals and dreams. Thank you all for reading, sharing, and contributing.
