Helping a young man move forward.

A year ago my wife Sarah had a young man in her class (she is a 3rd grade teacher) who had some catastrophic things happen in his life.  We can't go into too many details but in the matter of just a few weeks he was confronted with an abundance of loss in his life.  Sarah and I decided to step in and help have a stable home for him while he recovered from the trauma and also help him transition into being a part of a 'normal' family.  This young man has been thriving in every way possible;  grades have improved, gaining weight, and having a healthier outlook toward life in general.  We are so proud of him but there is one way he seems stuck in the mud and can't get out;  that's where you can help.

He doesn't have a place to grieve the loss he endured.  The only person he ever knew was unexpectedly gone and he's never been able to say goodbye.  We are hoping to raise enough funds to set up a final resting place where he can go and say goodbye as well as have a place to go and pay respects throughout the years.

This is the piece of the puzzle that we believe will open his world up immensely and help him move beyond the pause button that this trauma pressed on his development.
