PLEASE HELP US WITH KOKO’S ON GOING TREATMENT FROM AN HORRIFIC DOG ATTACK
This is KoKo she’s a griffin, and my brothers and my much loved pet. Yesterday 11/12/17 the neighbors dog’s dug under the fence KoKo put her head through the hole and one of the dogs grabbed her by the head and completely scalped her. She was rushed to the vets straight away, they were unable to do anything until she stabilised. Today after 24 hours of oxygen and intravenous drip they had sabilised her enough to try and repair the damage. Once they cleaned the area they discovered that there was nothing to sew the Dog had ripped off one of her ears and the rest of her scalp down to the top of her eyes. The only option now is constant bandage changes and close monitoring and a long stay at the Vets. KoKo is currently being cared for by the amazing staff at the Traralgon Veterinary Centre. The owners of the other dogs are not helping with the bills and we are going to struggle to pay the $3000 plus they have quoted, please if you could find it in your heart to help us out to make sure KoKo receives the best possible care in her long road to recovery we would greatly appreciate it.
