<div>Angie is a resilient young single mother, known for her warmth and love for her son, Logan. Recently diagnosed with colon cancer, she faces this heartbreaking reality with courage and positivity.

<div>Throughout her pregnancy, Angie experienced troubling symptoms but was repeatedly dismissed by doctors who labeled them as “normal.” Each visit to her regular doctors and ER doctors she was told she was “too young” to be screened for cancer, and her symptoms were no cause to worry. Angie knew something wasn’t right. Even after Logan's birth, her concerns went unheard until, finally, after months of advocacy, she was tested and the diagnosis was confirmed.

<div>As a young Latina woman, Angie’s struggles highlight the critical need for listening to women’s health concerns.
