Erma Mendoza born 1964, single mother of 5 children, Carlos (35), Corina (34), Claryssa (29), Angel (17), and Fiona (13). Our mother worked as a CNA for 30 years helping people who couldn't care for themselves. She is a strong and caring, loving person that gives and doesn't expect anything in return. She always thought about others and their happiness before hers.
Our mother was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer 2015. She got a mastectomy on her right breast. In 2016 the cancer spread to her hip. Doctors advised she start chemo pills to no avail. In 2017 the Doctors reported the cancer spread to her spine, kidney, and intestines. The cancer in her stomach is now causing her to have an obstruction (the cancer is squeezing her intestines and causing food not to pass but to be stuck in one spot). Our mother was taken to the emergency December 20th 2017 due to unbareable stomach pain. She has not eaten in days and the doctors have her on a N-G tube to draw out everything that has been obstructed. Doctors are now telling us the cancer has spread to her liver. Our mother has endured so much pain these past few months that the most we can do is make it as comfortable as possible for her.
We ask please to help us pay for medical expenses and expenses for what is needed to make her comfortable. Thank you
