Hair raising for Tarik

My hair is important for many reasons. I have been growing it to this length for the over 6 years. It keeps me warm and protects me from the sun. It acts as a safety blankie and I can hide behind it. It is one of my most defining features. But everyday people lose their hair (all over their bodies!) when undergoing chemotherapy treatment for cancers.

Tarik may not have much hair to begin with, but he deserves the solidarity I can offer by shaving my head to help raise funds for his treatments and general day to day expenses so that he can keep being the awesome character he is.

I will also be donating my luscious locks to Patene Beautiful Lengths so it can be made into a wig for another cancer warrior to wear and help her feel as beautiful as she deserves. 

All I am asking from you is to dip into your monies and suffer a little for this great cause.
