Don had a pre-existing heart condition that unfortunately left him ineligible for life insurance. With Don's unexpected passing we are currently trying to raise funds for his cremation services and putting together a memorial service. Any extra funds will be going to his immediate surviving family to help cover remaining debts and expenses in the days to come.
Donald Keith Magee passed away Tuesday, June 9th 2015. He had some pre-existing health issues but his passing was unexpected and well before his time.
Don was without a doubt ONE IN A MILLION!! He had the personality of a saint and the heart of an angel. He had a tough life in his younger years and a lot of the scars from his past he carried on himself but that never slowed him down. It wasn't very often that you'd see Don without a smile on his face. He was always willing to give up the last nickel in his pocket or the shirt off his back to help anyone he could.
Don married Joy Magee(Cascagnett) in April of 2010 and life had a whole new meaning for everyone from that day on. You see, Don never had any biological children of his own so when he married Joy he also became the loving father to her three children Travers Aylsworth, Tara Newman(Aylsworth), Tamara Evernham (Aylsworth) and a proud Grandpa to eventually eight Grand Children, Mikaylah, Austyn, Aubrey and Madyson Henderson, Tyler and Autumn Evernham and Alyssa and Michael Newman. He absolutely adored all of his children and grand children and LOVED being accepted as a Dad and Grandpa to his new family.
Don loved everyone and just loved life itself. Fishing, building a fire, making bird houses, fixing anything that was broken, he enjoyed it all. But most importantly he enjoyed the company and laughter of others and spending time with his family.
No longer bound by his health issues, he can spread his wings and fly. He is now at peace watching over us all!!
A loving husband, father, grandpa and friend taken too soon. Your memory lives on Don, you will be greatly missed and NEVER forgotten!!
