Help Angel March Cascades

Hello Everyone, as some of you know, I have been offered a contract to march in the guard with the Seattle Cascades Drum and Bugle Corps this summer. This is my very first time marching guard with Drum Corps and I am very excited for this summer. As you all may know, I have marched with my high school for the past 4 years (2 in colorguard and 2 in marching band) and have also marched with my high school's Winterguard for the past 2 years. This is definitely something that I had found that I love doing and want to keep on doing for a long time. But I can't do it alone. Unfortunately, the financial responsibility of this activity is very difficult for me to achieve.







Ever since I picked up a flag two years ago at my first colorguard practice, I was hooked to spinning. Guard has become a huge part of my life and a part of me. I spend so much time during the week constantly trying to improve myself and moving forward to be at the level that I want to achieve. Since I have picked up a flag I have became very proficient in rifle and was put on the advanced rifle line this year, as well as excelled in flag and was put on the advanced flag line this year. All of my hard work over the past few years had payed off miraculously and I am happy that I have progressed this far. But now, this past year, I have been wanting to push myself even harder and get out of my comfort zone. When I heard about Cascades Drum Corps I was immediately baffled by what they do and how everyone comes together to perform a show that they love. I knew that I would be pushed in the way that I wanted to and that joining would help me improve my guard skills immensely.







As it approaches the time to finally move in and work my butt off each day doing something I love, I have to pay tuition which is not an easy task for me. My parents agreed that I can go live out my dream if I raise all of the money myself by the time it is due. Guard is more than an activity to me, it is a family, and it is beauty as well as pain. It brings me such great pleasure to be able to march with such a great group people this summer and I am blessed to be chosen to join. I would greatly appreciate it if you can contribute anything this summer to help me live out my dream. Guard means so much to me and has become a huge part of my life.
