Jack Tinsley's Lung Transplant Fund

Hey y'all!  We are grateful to God that Jack Tinsley has come through his double lung transplant with flying colors, and he is already working hard on the road to an amazing recovery!!  Jack is the most loving, amazing, wonderful husband, father, and friend that anyone has ever had the pleasure of knowing, and his new lungs and new life mean the world to those of us who treasure him so dearly.

As you may know, Jack suffers from a rare genetic disorder called alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency, which causes his lungs to deteriorate over the course of his life; he had gotten so sick with the disease that he required a double lung transplant to continue living.  Miraculously, and thanks to one selfless individual and family, after being on the translplant list only one week, Jack got the call and received two healthy, young lungs!!

He is astounding everyone with how well he is recovering, but it is going to be a long road, and he will need to live in Houston for some time to be near Methodist Hospital, where he received his transplant.  He and his wife Linda have their home in Huntington, Texas, and she will be travelling back and forth to be with him.  Jack can no longer work, and Linda will be working from the road as much as possible, but they could really use our help with travel, food, medical, and living expenses.  While they are both away from home, the bills will continue to pile up more than ever, and while they had begun to save for the day of his transplant, they only had a week to save before that day actually came!

Any donations, large or small, would mean so much to Jack and Linda as they get back on their feet and begin to enjoy the wonderful gift of their new life together.  With his new lungs and our help, Jack will be breathing easier in no time at all!!!
