For Kevin's Children's Education

This page is about Kevin. He is the husband of a college friend of mine,
Valerie. Kevin was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer about a year and a half
ago, and passed away on Saturday. He leaves behind Valerie and 3 young
boys.

Kevin and Valerie had a special marriage, it was hard not to smile when you
saw them. They are so stinken' cute, but they also had this bond and love
for each other that even the best chick-flick could not capture. They also
were very devout Christians, and I think, this is what really drew people
in. Their love for each other was a great model for the love Christ has
for us.

Through the difficult months that Kevin suffered treatments, he never
failed to praise his Creator and give thanks for what he had and all the
small victories that he encountered along the way. It seemed like he was
always praying for Valerie and his boys, and anyone who asked for his
prayers.

One thing that Kevin wrote that stands out to me is:
"Courage is fear that has said it's prayers"

I cannot begin to imagine what they are going though now, and want to help
out in a way bigger than I can do myself.
They have 3 young boys, and I want to help raise money for their college
education. I know that together we can do amazing things! We can do this!
