My name is Lainey Bowers, I am a dancer, choreographer,
and visual artist who is currently a senior at California Institute of The Arts http://dance.calarts.edu/. Previously, my dance journey included studying at The Dance Theater of Harlem and The Alvin Ailey School of Dance. I am passionate about two things: Dancing and Inspiring others. I am a disciplined artist who uses her body, mind, creativity and soul to share information, stories, and feelings through my work. When I dance it is a true collaboration of effort and love...it is truly an uplifting experience for me.
As a dance major at CalArts, I have been blessed to be enrolled in a department that offers students the space and conditions to take creative risks and they have afforded me an amazing opportunity to study abroad this fall of 2014 at the London Contemporary School of Dance.
