Shadura Studies in India

Hello Family and Friends!

Many of you have heard that Shadura is accepted to Brown University's Study Abroad Program!  It is hard to believe that she leaves for India in less than a month!  Shadura is now a junior at Brown and will begin her junior semester at Lady Shri Ram College for Women in New Dehli.  While there she will study Hindi, history and explore policy and education.  This is an amazing opportunity!!!

Shadura is fortunate that her Brown scholarship will follow her and cover tuition and housing while she is away.  Of course, there is so much more to studying abroad than tuition and housing.  We would like Shadura to travel and explore India as much as possible.  Taking advantage of these opportunities is an added expense.  Your gifts can help offset her travel to and from India, throughout India and support her as she takes advantage of the multitude of cultural adventures she will find in New Dehli and surrounding areas.  (And should you find yourself in India, she is hoping for visitors, so please call on her for a meal and a place to stay!)

Our friends and family have always been so thoughtful and supportive of our girls and we are humbly asking for your help once more!  If you choose to support Shadura's semester abroad, please choose an amount that you are most comfortable with..and if you cannot give money at this time, please send your travel mercies, blessings and prayers because this will be a life-changing and challenging experience.  Shadura will need lifted by your positive thoughts.  I know we will hear her singing "Thank you and Thank God" for she knows her blessings are many.
