Funeral Expenses for Sgt. D. Eppinette

I am sending his message out to the Marines of the 2nd Assault Apmhibian Battalion, as a way to try to raise money for the funeral expenses for the family of Damon Eppinette. Sgt. Eppinette as I last knew him when i left the Marines was a 2141 AAV Mechanic. I had severed with him during my years in the Marines. I am sad to say I had lost touch with most Marines over the years and regardless this is the only way I can attempt to do to something to assist his family whom I myself never met. We all lost brothers in Iraq and in Afghanistan, and now we have lost another to the war. Damon could not end his fight with PTSD so he ended his life instead on May 24, 2014. This is the worst Memorial Day ever and my heart is heavy for all those we have lost. You may not have been close friends with everyone in our unit, company, or Battalion, but these men were still our brothers. And when one dies, a piece of us all dies. I don't know what to say or even what to try to accpomplish here but an utter attempt to help out his family.I have never been on this site to ask for money and did not know a goal to set so I am guessing here guys. I figured maybe we as Marines can come together and put in a few dollors to help out. I am at a loss for words....all I guess I can say now, with tears in my eyes, is Semper Fidelis Marine, Rest Easy Now......your watch has ended, we will take it from here. Until we all regroup.
