Help Me Get to World Champs!

Hi, my name is Adam Wolnikowski and I have been accepted to represent North America (USA and Canada) in the 2014 Laser Radial Youth World Championships. I plan on competing from July 26th to August 3rd. However, the costs of getting to and attending worlds are not small. I would appreciate donations of any amount, which would first and foremost go towards the plane ticket, the entry fee, and a sail fit for championship racing, but would also help cover the cost of hotels, boat charter, other gear upgrades, and clinic/training costs. Thank you very much for anything you can do for me!

I am an aspiring young sailor in the US. Sailing is my passion; I have been involved in sailing my entire life, and am even currently attempting to start a sailing team at my high school. I have now been competing on Lasers (an Olympic class of one-person racing sailboats) for two years, and have been working hard year round to get better and go as far as I can, including attending clinics, training with groups of other young sailors, and even participating in "frostbite" racing series that go through the winter, and often have me sailing through ice! This year, the Youth Laser Radial World Championships take place in Poland. This is the country that my family comes from, and I know it well, speak the language, and consider it home, so this would be a very special year for me to participate in the championship.
