Chewy needs help paying for surgery

Last night Chewy was attacked by another dog while playing fetch. Chewy is suffering from two dog bite wounds and a Displaced Fracture of his left scapular body (basically his shoulder blade). Surgery is mandatory for Chewy or the inevitable may have to happen. Since today is a holiday all orthopedic vet surgeons are on vacation and a treatment plan cannot even be discussed until possibly Tuesday morning. The Emergency Animal Clinic vet gave me a rough estimate of $3000 dollars for a typical surgery like this. More details will be posted as we figure them out ourselves. Thank you.
