Michele's medical expenses

This is my dear cousin, Michele, her husband Mike, and their precious children Taylor and Chase.  Michele was diagnosed a few years ago with a condition known as Acromegaly,  simply stated a tumor attached to the pituitary gland, which is located at the base of the brain. This causes excess HGH (human growth hormone) which causes over growth of organs, skin, small bones, etc. (Shrek was based off of man who had it.) Michele has been on medication to take care of this, but the medication is not working. Michele also has a cyst attached to the tumor. Michele's only option now is going to be surgery.  She has gone through so much already, injections, countless scripts to control symptoms (arthritis, depression, anxiety, high blood pressure, and sleep apnea.) She also needs a MRI of her brain once every three months (with her out of pocket expense being $900 for each one.) Blood work is also needed as much as every three weeks. Michele has had to endure with all sorts of side effects : severe headaches, blurred vision, over-growth of hands, feet, and face. She also has an oversized heart, lungs and liver.  Michele's surgery is scheduled for the early part of April. The neurosurgeon will work side by side with her ENT, during this long process. The tumor is touching the main artery of the brain, and because of this, the entire tumor CANNOT be removed and she will also undergo a process called Gamma Knife Surgery, which is a high tech radiation.  Michele's surgery carries with it a high risk of stroke and/or death. Michele is a wonderful , fun-loving person,  great wife and a loving mother. As most of us know just the normal  day to day struggles of a mortgage, utilities, clothes, gas, insurance etc can be quite over-whelming at times, not to mention all of this.  I would just like to take a huge weight off of their shoulders, and be able to help with their mounting medical expenses. If you are able to help Michele at this time it would be appreciated more than you know. Any amount, even if just a few dollars would be beneficial. I will  keep you updated on her progress.
