A Sister's Fight Against Cancer

On July 19, 2014, I will be running a muddy 5k obstacle race! I am running to raise money in support of my older sister, Kathy. Kathy was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Kathy is both a brave warrior in this cancer fight as well as a loving, supportive mother of 4 with 2 who are still in college. Unfortunately, her required radiation and chemotherapy treatments have directly impacted her ability to perform her duties at her job. As you can imagine, her inability to work has created additional financial stress with two boys still in school. My goal in running this crazy race is to raise money in order to help support Kathy and her family. If my sister can fight cancer with the grit and determination she has displayed, then I can certainly get dirty and out of breath! Cancer knows no boundaries, and I am sure that you or someone you love has been affected by cancer either directly or indirectly. Please consider a monetary donation- no amount is too small.
