Alisha Fukala's Memorial Assistance

Early in the morning, on September 9th, Alisha passed away unexpectedly.  This page is an effort to help Alisha's grieving husband, Ryan, cover the cost of the funeral arrangements, including a proper burial and headstone.
     Alisha was employed as an early childhood educator in New Brunswick, her joy and passion was being around children. She was known by her many friends for having a huge, caring heart and an amazing laugh. She was full of life and loved spending time outside, boating, swimming and fishing with her loving husband and friends.
     Alisha suffered from a heart condition from a very early age.  She never let this slow her down or curb her passion for life.  This heart condition, the cause of her death, also left her to be unable to carry a child.  Ryan and Alisha longed for a child of their own so in turn they attempted adoption.  As of late they were both very excited and looking forward to adopting their first child in Dec of this year (2018).
     They were also in the midst of preparing for a trip to Toronto for a heart and lung transplant consultation.  Sadly, they never got to make the trip.  Alisha passed away just 6 days prior to the trip.
     Due to her heart condition, they were unable to get life insurance for her leaving him with the financial strain of all expenses.  It is Ryan’s hope that by sharing his and Alisha’s story, this may help somebody else that may be struggling through the adoption processes.
