Sandra's Medical Fund

Sandra Vaughan of Sweetwater TX, has been struggling with medical issues for a number of years.  Sandra is a cancer survivor who has lupus.  The last 3 years have been the worst for her and her loved ones. In February of 2014, a mass was found on the head of her pancreas.  She had surgery, a Whipple Procedure, at that time to remove the mass.  Since then she has had to be hospitalized numerous times.  In May of this year she had her pancreas and spleen removed and was in the Hospital in Ft. Worth for a period of time.  On the 2nd of August she had a Subtotal Gastrectomy, removal of her stomach, and also had part of her colon removed at Baylor, Scott & White Hospital in Ft. Worth. She had been in the hospital there for several weeks before the surgery.  She is currently recovering in Fort Worth. During this last round of surgeries the engine in their vehicle blew out, so now they are faced with the expense of replacing the engine. This in conjunction with prior illnesses and surgeries has left the family realing from hardship caused by medical and travel cost.
