Donating My Hair For Cancer

My family and friends have all been affected by cancer. A number of years ago my friend was lost to cancer,  and in the years following members of my family have battled with the illness as well. I have seen first hand the effects of this disease on cancer patients and their friends amd famiy.  I want to do my bit to prevent any more people from suffering as those close to me  have. I have decided to cut 14 inches off of my hair to make a wig for cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. I am doing this to raise money for Aoibheanns Pink Tie and  The Irish Cancer Society. All funds raised will be split evenly between these two  charities. Aoibheanns pink tie helps give practical and financial support to cancer patients and their families who need the money to cover medical bills or just need support with their day to day lives. The Irish Cancer society works to develop treatments to cure cancer. Any donations will greatly help this cause.
