Volunteering in an orphanage in Nepal

Namaste everyone,

In developing countries like Nepal, thousands of children are left orphaned, leaving them with no real home, family or education opportunities. This is where I come in.  I am going to be volunteering for 7 weeks (and hopefully longer) starting 1st of August in Nepal with IVHQ and HOPE and HOME.  Hope and Home is a small dynamic travel company based in Nepal and working in partnership with the 'International Volunteer HQ' (IVHQ), New Zealand.
The volunteer program is to offer meaningful volunteer opportunities for international volunteers and to seek sustainable solutions for education, health, conservation, and development issues through volunteering. We hope to achieve this goal by offering community orientated volunteer programs where the efforts of our volunteers go directly to the poor people and their communities.
I will be participating in a variety of educational and community aid programs. This will give me a chance to make an important contribution to the people of Nepal and while doing so gain an in depth experience of the country and its culture.

Any donation that you can make whether it be great or small will help me on my way to Nepal.  Any extra money raised will be donated to the Hope and Home foundation to help with the supplies of food, bedding, arts and crafts, a vegetable garden and sports equipment for the children.
