She is at high risk of losing her second ovary and therefore most likely won't have a chance to ever have a child of her own.
Renata started facing some serious health issues 7 years ago. She was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and had to have her ovary removed immediately. Over the course of the following 7 years she has been following doctor's orders and doing her best to keep her health in check, with regular visits, scans and a healthy lifestyle.
However, some things you just can't control and there is now a high chance she might have to undergo a procedure to have her second ovary removed in the next 6 months. Her doctor is doing the best he can to prevent that from happening, especially since she is still a young woman (33 years old) and doesn't have her eggs frozen.
The process of freezing eggs is not cheap and unfortunately she is not in a financial situation where she can afford it and the time is of the essence!
Renata is kind, loving, hard working, loyal and honest person. Beautiful inside and out! She has been a part of my life for the past 5 years, and being from similar backgrounds and having similar goals in life, we connected instantly. The idea that someone wants to have a child one day, but can't due to health issues or whatever the reason, is heartbreaking to me! Renata has so much love and joy to share everywhere she goes. She is a great aunt figure to my daughter and I know she will also make a great mother one day, if only she is given the opportunity.
I believe that anyone who wants to truly experience and feel the joys of parenthood should have the opportunity to do so. It shouldn't be something reserved just for people with the means to afford it, but also for those who really need it and don't have any other options.
My hope is that we can get enough donated to get the egg freezing procedure done plus 2-3 years of storing them. Any and every dollar counts. Trust me, you would be helping an amazing human be able to have an amazing human. And you'll get karma points! Please help and spread the word as well!
