<div>I decided the first week of July to run the Chicago Marathon in October to get in-shape to donate a kidney to my Dad. I called dozens of charity teams to join their running team this October, but only one team had a spot open: Team Red Cross.

<div>I am grateful they allowed me to join their team since I did not qualify for the 2024 Chicago Marathon! I definitely believe I was meant to do this and likely will be the only time I run a marathon in my life.

<div>I have to raise $1,750 since I registered late that all goes to the American Red Cross - please help me get there! I am grateful for all that choose to donate ❤️

<div>EDIT: Never thought so many of you would support me in this endeavor, THANK YOU SO MUCH. I changed the goal to $10,000 so that anything over the $1,750 the American Red Cross requires will go to my father for his bills for receiving a kidney from me since it will be his burden to pay for the procedures for him to receive a kidney and for myself to donate my kidney to him.
