ABOUT

All anti-fascist, anti-capitalist, anti-imperialist trans women and nonbinary people who experience transmisogyny are hereby invited to mass in Athens, Georgia, from July 10th through July 13th for the first-ever TWIST convergence!
This event is a CLOSED SPACE, designed to build power for anti-fascist, anti-capitalist, anti-imperialist trans women (and nonbinary people who experience transmisogyny). As far as we know, it is the first event of its kind.
By donating to the TWIST convergence, you are helping to create an historic moment in radical trans feminism, and a vital space for the development of analysis and techniques to combat transmisogyny. Your donations will allow for us to provide (a) pay-what-you-can tickets, (a) free lodging, and (c) free food for participants. As a stretch goal, we will offer travel grants for faraway trans women who wouldn't otherwise be able to attend. Your donations will be appreciated greatly, used wisely, and spread as thinly as money can spread. Trust me.

Trans Women In Solidarity // Trans Woman Illuminati Scheming Terror (TWIST) is a Georgia-based collective of trans lesbian anarchists working to dismantle capital, patriarchy, and a whole host of other terrible things. They are the hosts and organizers of the TWIST convergence, and are providing a limited number of TWIST patches and zines for those who donate to it.

Royce Icon is a trans woman artist living in Portland, OR. Her work focuses on emotional catharsis, identity and abstraction. She has generously made available a whole bunch of her original artwork for donors to the TWIST convergence. You can see more of her work at royceicon.tumblr.com.

MUSIC & POETRY FROM LIAM O'BRIEN!
Liam O'Brien grew up on a small island outside Seattle. Starting this fall, he will be attending the Writer's Workshop at the University of Iowa. He plays violin, viola, and mandolin, and sings too! The chapbook he's providing is hand-stitched, and includes poems about chickenhawks, Norman Bates, and The Monkees. His solo EP features string and vocal arrangements of (mostly) songs about boys. He will arrange and record for you any song you like, barring copyright restrictions.
