8th Grade Washington D.C Trip!

Hello! My name is Kassaundra Martinez and I am one of the Assistant Principals at Kory Hunter Middle School. This year we have been introduced to an amazing company, EF Travel, that will help us take our 8th grade scholars to Washington D.C. to not only learn about our country's history but live and breath it in on a 4 day, jam packed trip through the city. Many of my students have never been out of Los Angeles and I know this is a trip that will not only help our scholars connect to their history but return home with a desire for more!

Each scholar is asked to pay $2050, which for all that is included is an AMAZING price, to attend the trip and while we will be hosting many on campus fundraisers we know that we are still going to need a bit of help. We are reaching out to all of you to help us raise money to lower the cost for all 15+ scholars that are currently signed up to travel. With your help they will be able to explore D.C, see the Lincoln Memorial, the White House, Vietnam memorial, Changing of the Guard ceremony, Mt. Vernon and much, much more! Your contribution, no matter how  how small will help our scholars join us on this once in a lifetime opportunity to learn about the history they will explore in the classroom this year! Our goal is to raise $8,000 by January 2020 and I know with your help we can make this goal a reality!
