Love and Life for Logan

My sister Kriszti and her husband Patrick have just received the most horrible news of their lives- their 4 year old son, Logan has a Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (a tumor on his brain stem). He was fine one day, and the next he began having a lazy eye. This is hereditary on her husband's side of the family so we all assumed it was just the lazy eye, and that a patch and some glasses would make him as good as new. A visit to the pediatric ophthalmologist revealed his eyesight was unaffected by the lazy eye and vision was perfect (this is apparently not common) so they did not know what was causing it and recommended an MRI to determine the cause. We had no idea this is the news we would be hearing-that there is a tumor on his brain stem that is aggressive and immovable. It is inoperable and they have been told he has 6 months without treatment; about a year with some type of radiation or chemotherapy and a combination of medications. Our entire family is beyond devastated and in shock and disbelief over this diagnosis. It does not feel real. It can't be. They have the hardest battle and journey of their lives ahead of them and the financial ramifications atop the emotional ones will be far too much for them to bear. I wanted to create this funding to help them at least relieve some of this financial burden so that they can spend their time focusing solely on their precious boy and their 2 daughters rather than worrying about finances. I appreciate your prayers and any donation that will help them. I have nothing more to say, other than that I love them so much and I have only a humble and simple prayer.....May our Heavenly Father give them strength and heal their son. Amen.
