Delores and Ashlee’s Story:
Years of Abandonment has meant my sister, Delores and her daughter, Ashlee have SURVIVED with:
· NO CAR
· NO FOOD
· NO ELECTRICITY
She just learned her estranged husband has NOT been paying the mortgage and has moved in with his girlfriend. When he came to get some of his stuff he KILLED Ashlee's CAT right in front of her. That is just CRUEL and was the last straw for my sister. Praise the Lord she has FINALLY FILED for DIVORCE!!
The SAD NEWS is that as of June 3rd they will have NO HOME as it will be AUCTIONED off by the bank. This was the property that Delores' grandmother left to her which her husband took out a loan against to start his business. Delores has been a stay at home wife and mother but is actively looking for employment. Ashlee is also inspired and ready to find the right career path and wants to enroll in the community college. Her DREAM is to WORK with and HELP ANIMALS and what a BLESSING it will be to see her achieve that GOAL!
Delores and Ashlee ARE survivors and will continue to PRESS ON with GOD's HELP and with YOUR HELP! They NEED A CAR (or enough money to save the house ($30K) but a car will give them freedom to get to/from employment and a job will allow them to pay rent once they find a place to live. The car is a PRIORITY and we appreciate anything YOU CAN do to MAKE A DIFFERENCE in REACHING THIER DREAM of a BETTER LIFE!
