We need a bridge!

We have a need for a bridge that has no post below it. Long ago, MassDOT moved a stretch of Route 95 westward and higher because the Little River doesn't stay a little river during flood conditions. The Boy Scouts put a crib bridge but because of fear of a massive flood washing it away, the Newburyport Conservation Commission ordered it dismantled. But for handicap-accessibility; a bridge is needed. This bridge will add to the value of the Little River Trail System (www.littlerivertrailsystem.com) as the crossing is just off the Bike Trail.

I'm raising money to benefit Parker River Clean Water Association, and any donation will go to them to create this bridge.     The whole purpose of these trails is to make aware and teach the surrounding community the importance of the watershed and the important role of forests and wetlands from floods that would cause harm to downriver businesses and residences.
