Dear Friends and Family,
The Falmouth Chorale Chamber Singers are thrilled to announce that we have been given the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall in April 2020! Some of you may recall our performances of Robert Cohen's "Alzheimer's Stories" in 2017. This incredibly powerful and moving piece touched all of us deeply. At Robert Cohen's recommendation, the Chamber Singers have been invited to perform "Alzheimer's Stories" as part of a larger chorus comprised of groups from across the country that have sung the piece before.
While we are over the moon at this opportunity, we need your help getting to NYC! The estimated cost for each singer is $1200+ per singer. In addition, we are required to submit a new recording of us singing the piece, which will require assistance from a director and accompanist. Please note that we are NOT using any Falmouth Chorale funds for this, but we are attempting to raise funds specifically for this once-in-a-lifetime trip. We would sincerely appreciate your help to offset some of these costs. Any profit above our goal will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association.
