Help for a single mom

My daughter and I were in a car accident on Christmas Eve. A friend of mine was so gracious to let me use her new SUV to travel to Chicago,so my daughter could catch a flight with her father to visit grandma in Texas. Which in effect saved our lives. We hit black ice and rolled over coming off of an exit. My friend had full coverage and gap insurance yet it will not pay the down payment for a new vehicle. I am raising money for a friend that has asked for nothing in return.
