Hello family and friends,
Sarah and I are raising money to help pay for my PhD in New Testament degree, which begins this August 2014 at Southwestern Seminary! As I am called to the pastorate, this is a very exciting step in our lives. However, we need your help to see it realized. With tuition, fees, books, and other expenses, we have realized that we will need $10,000 per year to pay for this program, not bad at all for a PhD program! The money raised will go toward tuition, fees, books, and other doctoral-related expenses.
Although this number seems quite large, we are only asking for $20 from each of you. If all of our family and friends donate at least $20, we will quickly obtain our goal.
I have been blessed by the Lord Jesus these past seven years to be able to fund my undergraduate and graduate degrees. This final step in my education and preparation for ministry is exciting and will require the help of my loved ones. May God bless you as you bless Sarah and me.
