bike across the country i sacrificed 4

dec 16, 2011 i was shot in the head while conducting operations in afghanistan. it left me completely paralyzed on my right side. through alot of hard work and determination i re learned how to walk and taught myself to ride a regular upright bicycle. after facing death in the face and having to rebuild my life. i was told by the dr's id never walk again and my goal is to ride my bicycle across the united states and see the country ive sacrificed so much for. ive witnessed so many guys give up and loose hope after being severly injured. i want to document my cross country journey and use it to show some of these guys there's always hope so long as you dont give up and believe in yourself
