Can it be a Dream Come True?

As an adult student who is 56 years old and disabled, pursuing my B.A. has been challenging, painful, and empowering. It is my last semester at San Francisco State University, and I have been accepted into a study abroad program in Argentina, to finish my last semester. I have also been awarded a $1000 Scholarship by my department. I am honored and touched to even be in the position to consider this. When I graduate, I will be the first person in my family to graduate from college. This is more than I ever thought I could do. I feel like I have been given a chance to do something that I don't entirely feel deserving of, but I am going to go with it. In order to study in Argentina from July to December, I will need to gather $3000. This will cover the costs of paying a host family, public transportation, and food, as well as airfare.

I realize i am in a place of privilege to be able to attend college, and to possibly study abroad. Which makes it exceptionally difficult to ask for help. BUT If you could spare a few dollars, I would appreciate it more than I can convey. Sharing this would be really appreciated as well.

Thank you for reading. And if you have any questions, pls feel free to ask.

**transparency: my dear friend Christina made a bingo board as a fundraiser, where participants could win jewelry. It was not going too well, so we canceled it and are trying this instead. **
