Help Tom & Lisa Battle Cancer

My dear friends, Lisa & Tom Fiorini (Lisa Stefano) are in trouble. If you know Tom and Lisa, you know what wonderful, funny, loving people they are. Well, Tom just found out that he has ALL, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. It is 20-50% curable and 80% remissible. But it's extremely agressive and without immediate treatment, his prospects were zero. Click for ALL explanation on WebMD. 

It's a very complicated disease and it may require the help of a drug which is not FDA approved so the insurance will not cover it. His cyto-genetics have shown that he has both the Philadelphia chromosome and the 813 chromosome, which complicate things. Most people have one or the other - Tom has both.

He will also need a bone marrow transplant.

Tom is in treatment and can't work. Treatment will likely take a year before he can receive the bone marrow transplant. Lisa works but needs to take a lot of unpaid time off in order to help Tom with his treatments.

Many of their friends are sending prayers - and that's GREAT! But they could also use a little more to help them get through this next year.
