Homeless Stay Warm

I've always had this idea in my heart to donate blankets and socks to the homeless during the winter to help them stay warm and survive the coldest nights of the year. For my entire life i've had the amazing blessing every night to fall asleep in a warm bed with clean blankets and socks. When I think about it, I hate to admit it, but I often tend to take the roof over my head and clothes on my body for granted. I can only imagine how hard it must be to not have the most basic of necessities in life and have to fight every night just for warmth. Unfortunately, for many, that is a yearly, monthly, and daily battle, and I want to help change that for even just one person.

So, this year for Christmas, I want to listen to God's voice in my heart to help take care of His people. I am asking those who are in my family that were originally planning getting me a Christmas gift to instead put that money towards this fundraiser for the homeless.

$400 covers the amount for 100 blankets & 125 unisex wool socks with shipping included in that $400. My wife and I will putting our money into this as well.
