Chelsea's Last Wish

Please support us to fundraise to get Chelsea to Euro Disney.
We are both carers for a young girl called Chelsea Lakeman who was diagnosed at 5yrs old with a rare condition called Metachromatic Leukodystrophy. At diagnosis she was give a 2 year life expectancy, however due to her strength and determination plus amazing medical care, she will be turning 16 next month. Chelsea is profoundly disabled and both her medical and physical needs are extremely complex.
Chelsea has an amazing sense of humour, a smile that will light up a room and dispite her disability she loves to shop, be pampered, socialise, go swimming and she absolutely loves anything to do with princesses, in particular Disney princesses.
Her one wish would be to go to Euro Disney to meet the princesses and be a princess with them.
Myself and another carer are raising money to make her wish come true.
With her medical and physical needs becoming sufficiently more challenging this year will be her last chance to get there.
We have many things lined up to raise the money and aim to get there November 2014.
For Chelsea to get there we would have to drive her in her own van due to her medical needs. Chelsea needs vast amounts of medical equipment and luggage which we would need to take in another vehicle as it will not all fit into her van with her aswell.
Chelsea's medical and physical needs are very complex and requires two people for all her care for 24hrs. To make the trip possible we need to raise enough for her parents to go aswell as two cares to cover all hours and aspects of care.
