Life is an adventure.  Unfortunately, part of this current adventure is learning how to cope with being stranded in Western Montana with a car that has a busted brake line.  Cricket, my Subaru, has a brake line issue that will cost $3,500 to fix.  Two mechanics were consulted for the wisdom they contain, and both recommended me getting another car, and sparing them the hours of labor it would take to keep me from splatting on the mountain passes.  
So.
I need to raise a lot of money in a stupidly short amount of time, in order to get back to Ithaca.
All my money went into buying the car that isn't safe anymore.
I'll need help just to get an $800 reservation special.  But getting a car that will last longer than the ride home is my goal!
So.
