Supporting Les Kiger and His Family

Donation protected
Imagine that tomorrow... You are diagnosed with a rapid-growing cancer that could strangle you in days if you didn't take immediate action.  What would you do?

In 2013, one month after his 30th birthday, Les Kiger was diagnosed with acute T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (ALL), an aggressive blood-based cancer that affects the lymph system. Les and his wife Kali, and even their 3 year old daughter are all avid equestrians in the community, owning and running PonyPros, a local riding lesson and horse training program in Bend, Oregon (www.PonyPros.net).  Les is your typical Central Oregonian, fit, healthy, happy, an amazing father and husband to his family. Enlightening the community in numerous ways, Les is a certified yoga instructor, amazing horse trainer and teacher, has published his own books, operated his own web design business, and continues to be an inspiration to others during his cancer treatment.  After starting chemotherapy, Les had been in remission from September 2013 to April 2014, but has recently been faced with new challenges in his treatment.  Les is currently inpatient at OHSU hospital in Portland, Oregon, and will likely undergo a bone marrow transplant this summer, followed by a long maintenance period in the hospital.
To give back to the Kiger family, We are hosting an event on June 14th, 2014 in Bend, Oregon, as well as an online donation through GoFundMe.com. All proceeds will go towards helping the Kiger family with medical bills and living expenses while Les undergoes treatment.  We will also be hosting a donor drive to help save the lives of blood cancer patients worldwide.

If you would like to contribute to the silent auction, donate, or volunteer, please contact Gina Papa at [email redacted] for more information.
