On a medical mission in 2011, I met a man by the name of Dr. Michael Pagliacci. As we conversed he began to talk about water – how it changes everything! He had seen it himself in Cambodia in 2009, working on a joint initiative with The Flying Doctors of America and The Future of Khmer Children Organization to promote access to healthcare in regions underserved. He explained how water affects education, it affects health outcomes, families, particularly woman and children, poverty, and ultimately – it affects the essence of life.

When Dr. Pagliacci introduced me to The Future of Khmer Children Organization (FKC) based is the Siem Reap region of Cambodia, I felt a deep moral obligation to act. The FKC is a non-profit organization who works to provide a means of education and vocational training to the children and families in this region, who extend health services and promote health within their local communities – one way, through access to clean water.

Recently, I introduced The Tyler Water Project. The Tyler Water Project is a “push.” It’s a way of contributing to the solution. Its name serves to honor one amazing human being –  Tyler Pulsipher – who inspired us all through his own service in Cambodia. Tyler loved the people of Cambodia, and understood the need to act. In 2010, Tyler passed away from complications of a brain malignancy. He was 28 years old. Yet, his legacy of service lives on through all of us!

With your help we can bring about solutions for families. We can save lives. We can give children a healthy future. We can further Tyler’s legacy of service.

Thank you for your contribution.
