Help Denise Beat Cancer

As some of you already know, my beautiful sister, Denise (Lopeck) Orena, has recently been diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer, which has spread to her liver. This devastating news came as a complete shock to her, our family, and especially to her husband and three sons. However, we took immediate action and these past few weeks have been a whirlwind of doctor visits, testing, and hospital stays. She has already undergone one surgery. Although she is now healing from surgery, she is still in a tremendous amount of pain due to the cancer that still remains on her liver. She is currently being treated at Sloan Kettering for pain management and she began chemotherapy. She may also need another surgery in the future.

Denise has a long, tough road ahead of her, and is in for the fight of her life. She is willing to do anything and everything to beat this. She would love nothing more, than to live a long, happy, cancer-free life with her husband and children. She deserves the best medical treatments available to her, including alternative medicine. There will be many extra out of pocket expenses, as well as, co-pays, deductibles, etc. associated with her recovery. Many of you have reached out to our family and wanted to help in some way, so here is something that we can all do to help Denise in her recovery.
