Dreams Come True

Robyn has been offered an opportunity to attend a summer intensive at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts for film, television and theater. This is a huge step towards making her dream of becoming an actress come true. She is the fourth of five children and has struggled though doing well in school and participating in school theater projects while moving around due to her parents military service and deployments. She has been working with Barbizon for the last two years and auditions for modeling jobs every chance she gets but has not had much opportunity to pursue acting. Robyn was able to perform in front of agents and scouts the weekend of 17-18 May 2014 in Washington DC and was invited to attend the summer program 12 July - 9 August 2014. This program covers acting techniques, commercial/film/TV basics, movement, improv, stage combat, voice, shakespeare and voice over techniques. Afer successful completion of this program Robyn can receive college credits and the NY Conservatory for Dramatic Arts is an institutionally accredited member of the National Association of Schools of Theatre and chatered by the NY State Board of Regents. This will also assist in her ability to be accepted to the conservatory once she graduates from high school. 
Being part of a military family and no assistance from her biological father coming up with the money to make this exciting opportunity a reality, is almost impossible. Robyn has dreamt of becoming an actress since she was eight years old. She has participated in the local Sheakspeare summer plays and as recently as this year been cast as the lead in the sophomore one-act play at her high school. We are asking for anything anyone is willing to send to her to help her on the road to making her dreams come true!
She was invited to attend after the final date for payments to be completed for tuitions and housing. Therefore all funds are due at time of registration.
