Walter's Medical Fund

Hello, my name is Walter Martin, I am 23 years old and Live in Salem Ohio with my wonderfully better half Alyssa. On January 4, 2016 I was working in Dent PA with a steel construction company. At 1 in the afternoon, I was standing on a beam 35ft. off the ground trying to position a stack of steel perlins while my boss was setting them down with a forklift. I wasn't tied off at the minute because I was only going to be out of manlift for a second or two, but in the mean time while my boss was backing the forklift out from under the perlins, a fork caught the stack of purlins and bounced them off the opposite beam. As they fell the other end of the stack caught me in the chest and catipulted me clear of the building and I fell landing flat on my feet, crushing my heels and several bones in my feet. And because I was switching companies at the new year I was caught inbetween with no insurance or workman's comp. Now 3 months later I'm about to start trying to walk again but its going to be awhile before I can provide an income, and my savings are gone and I have about 170,000 in hospital bills. Alyssa has been a champion through all this so if someone earmarks some funds for a small vacation for her that word be amazing! Otherwise the money will be used to make payments on hospital bills till I'm on my feet again. The need is becoming more urgent, and I'm out of options so I'm trying this. I want to take as much responsibility for this as I can, but I will be immeasurably greatful to whoever feels led to help us out. May God bless everyone who shares!
