We're feeding the Alamance County Frontline Workers and supporting Elon restaurants.
As we prepare for possibly the hardest weeks related to COVID-19 in our area, we are raising funds to feed frontline workers across Alamance County. At the same time, our local Elon restaurants are suffering from the devastating economic impact of the virus, especially with nearly all students out of town.
This fund is for the community to donate meals from local Elon restaurants to frontline workers including healthcare, fire, police, public works, postal and more. The more we raise, the more frontline workers we can feed. This fund will provide meals to those working on behalf of their communities while also helping our local restaurants.
Our initial goal is to raise $5000 to support these efforts. The more we raise, the more we can feed. Our goal will be to feed at least one hospital team daily along with another frontline entity. Donations of any amount will help. All donations will be tracked and spending will be made transparent on this page.
While this fund is being managed by Emily Sharpe and local business owners, this fund is not associated with the Town of Elon.
