Flood Relief for Bosnia

My name is Melanie Dominski and I work for the Center for Peacebuilding (CIM), a non-profit NGO based in Sanski Most, Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the aftermath of the Balkan's worst flooding since record-keeping began 120 years ago, CIM would like to do everything we can to contribute to the relief efforts taking place all over the country. In order to do that, we need your donations!
Three months' worth of rain fell over the Balkans in three days, causing severe flooding and an estimated 2,100 landslides, which demolised whole villages and roads and moved landmines leftover from the country's 1990s war. About a million people, over a quarter of Bosnia's entire population, live in the worst-affected areas of Bosnia. Thousands of people have been forced to evacuate thier homes. The need for aid is widespread.
Sanski Most, while not the worst hit area in Bosnia, has also been greatly affected by the flooding, as these pictures show. (All pictures from inMedia.ba). CIM will use all donated money to provide relief and assistance to those affected by the floods in Sanski Most and throughout Bosnia. Please consider donating what you can.
